These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Healthiify telemedicine marketplace ("Platform") located at https://telemedicine.healthiify.com. By using our Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Platform”: Refers to Healthiify’s online marketplace that connects patients with healthcare providers for telemedicine consultations.
  • “Users”: Refers to patients, doctors, hospitals, and specialists using the Platform.
  • “Services”: Refers to telemedicine consultations, appointments, and associated healthcare services provided through the Platform.

2. Use of the Platform

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform. Users under 18 must have parental consent to access healthcare services.
  • By accessing the Platform, you represent that you meet the eligibility requirements.

Account Registration

  • To use the Platform, you must register for an account by providing accurate personal and medical information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activities conducted through your account.
  • Healthiify reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Telemedicine Consultations

Healthcare Provider Relationship

  • The Platform enables you to connect with licensed healthcare providers for virtual consultations. However, Healthiify does not provide medical services directly. The relationship is between you and the healthcare provider, and all medical advice, diagnoses, and treatments are solely the responsibility of the provider.

No Emergency Services

  • The Platform is not intended for emergency medical situations. If you experience a medical emergency, please seek immediate assistance from a local healthcare facility.

 

 

Consultation Fees

  • Fees for consultations are displayed on the Platform. Payment is required before the appointment, and no refunds will be provided for completed consultations.

4. User Obligations

Accurate Information

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and during any telemedicine consultations. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

Compliance with Laws

  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including healthcare, privacy, and telemedicine laws, while using the Platform.

5. Healthcare Providers’ Obligations

  • Healthcare providers must maintain their medical licenses, comply with all applicable healthcare regulations, and ensure the privacy of patient information.
  • Providers must conduct consultations in a professional and timely manner.

6. Payments and Refunds

Payment Terms

  • Payment for consultations and services must be made via the Platform using the available payment options (credit cards, mobile payments, insurance, etc.).
  • All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. Healthiify does not store any payment details.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds for cancellations or missed appointments are governed by the cancellation policies displayed when booking the appointment. No refunds will be provided for completed services.

 

 

 

7. Privacy and Data Security

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Healthiify or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Users may not use, copy, or distribute any content from the Platform without Healthiify’s express permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Healthiify is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, including any errors or omissions in medical advice or delays in services. Healthiify’s total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you for services rendered.

10. Termination

Healthiify reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.

11. Amendments

Healthiify reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

The laws of the republic of Kenya govern these Terms. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of republic of Kenya.
